What to Expect from Opus

The Opus IRB experienced and knowledgeable staff will guide you through all the areas of the IRB process from initial contact through the completion of a research study. Additionally, you may be assured that the Institutional Review Board panel is comprised of specialties from across the country to provide a national perspective for human research protection rather than just regional. IRB board meetings are scheduled weekly to help facilitate timely submission turnarounds.

Plus, you will experience the advantages offered through the OpusView® a suite of online tools for managing studies under review, secure online forms submission for Institutions and Sponsors. Also included are applications designed to make the review process easier and more convenient benefiting both Sponsors and Sites through greater efficiency, accuracy and more timely responses to events throughout a study’s lifecycle.

Our complete training package covering all phases of a clinical research trial is readily available at no extra fee to accounts maintaining at least one active study under Opus IRB review. This service is available to all members of your staff with a valid user account.

Online Training

To create an Opus IRB account, just follow the steps outlined below. Call our toll free number (877-346-8420) for assistance with any part of the submission process.

  • Complete the New Account Request Form.  If other research personnel from your site request an account, the "Name of your Business" and "Main Organization Phone" must be exactly the same.
  • Once your information is verified, you will receive directions via email for accessing your online account.
  • Go to the Forms & Guidelines section for information detailing the submission process.
  • Upload your electronic documents using your new online account or you may email the documents to info@opusirb.com. If you prefer, you may fax your completed and signed documents to Opus at 678-736-7949.
